Jensen Family Christmas Party! 2012

Every year we have a Jensen family Christmas Party where the grand kids draw names and then do their gift exchange there at the party. We eat good food, laugh eat some more and play a few games. This year we added Natalie and Josie (Natalie's daughter) to our family. Marty and Natalie were married this year at Easter and its been fun to have them in the family. We also added "oh so cute baby Parker" to our family, he is Ki and Ashley's baby boy who was born on June 6, 2012. We  sure did miss having Brady this year, he is serving his mission in Mexico and doing very well.

I know Tanner in the dead middle with his legs like that! What was he thinking moment!! And I am also left to wonder why our photographer didn't tell him to fold up his legs!! Oh well this is a typical family picture for us because there is so many haha  Oh and I know... My eyes are closed! Hey that's how I roll  ;)

This is Parker! He is just too darn cute and I had to post a picture of just himself! Man I love his cute face, I want to kiss his cheeks all day long!

This year, we ended up playing a white elephant game. Everyone one brought a gift, we sat in a circle and played the pass to the left pass to the right story game and well it was kinda funny to see some of the gifts!!

Oh and he threw out his back a few days before the party so that is why he is in the comfy chair.

And the BEST one was my mom (Grandma Marie), yes she opened up some pretty panties and "soak your old tired bum" bath salts! ( the look on Jaxon, Jorie and Austins faces really make this picture that more funny!)
And don't think for one minute we did not plan this one out hahaha . Heck we had too!
It was a great time and I always enjoy getting together with family, I sure love mine.

Seeing Santa!

Rylan was so much fun this year for Christmas. She was so excited to see Santa, to talk to him and tell him what she wanted. We went to Brinlyn's School Christmas play and watched her be a cute elf in it. Rylan loved watching all the kids and the best part was at the end when Santa came!

Paisyn loved the play as well but didn't think Santa was a cool as Rylan did.

She was so happy with me because I wanted a picture of her and Santa. She really enjoyed sitting on his lap and telling him what she wanted as well.. HAHA

Brinlyn did such a great job in the play, it was really cute and we all went home with Christmas in our hearts! 

I am pretty sure that right here she is letting him know she has been a good girl this year, and then telling him her long list of items she wants him to bring :)

The Saturday before Christmas Santa once again made an appearance here in town. He  goes around to all the kids in our town ridding in the ambulance with all the lights a flashing, and the kids love it. Rylan was so excited to have him come to her house she waited by the door for a good 30 minutes before he made it .

She had the biggest grin on her face when she open the door and there he was waiting to come inside!

Paisyn didn't cry this time but she was not sitting on his lap again. She is reaching for Brinlyn to save her.

 And the boys had to have a picture with the good old boy as well, I'm sure they loved me for it. :)

He left us candy canes filled with M&M's and then went on his Merry way. Paisyn did like the candy.

Kennedy Christmas 2012

This is our little kiddos on Christmas Eve, sporting their new Christmas PJ's!
I tried so hard to get a good photo of the 5 of them but Rylan was sick (poor little girl) and this one is the best one.

Ok so on with Christmas Eve. We had a good day other than Rylan was starting to cough and not act like she felt all that well. That night around 5 we went up to Kenny and Rhonda's to eat dinner and let the kids play and get all worn out so they would sleep! haha if only it really worked out that easy.
Then we came home, opened up our Christmas Eve gift (PJ's) and tried really hard to get the kids to relax. We watched Christmas Vacation and by 10:00 it was looking good on the sleeping part!

So off to bed we all went, dreaming and hoping Santa would make it to our house.
Long night story short, Rylan fevered a high fever for most the night and Travis and I got zero sleep. By 5:30 in the morning I was up with her again and she was super hot at this point so I put her in the bath. Of course the other kids heard us and so they all decided it was time to have CHRISTMAS!

Santa brought Brinlyn a Kindle Fire, Paisyn enjoyed her candy he left in her sock, Rylan loves her new bike, Jaden loves his baseball stuff and Tanner loves his thermals! haha

And the madness of gift opening began!

We all got a lot of nice things and it was a good morning. Rylan felt good long enough to enjoy it and that made me so happy.

And then Rylan and Travis had a nap :)
