Can I just say "how cute is Rylan's chunky little legs"?

Okay, so I have to add in these last few pictures because I can't leave out our precious Paisyn who was still a twinkle in our eye when these pictures were taken. Can I just echo myself again on just how blessed we are with our 5 beautiful children!

We love each of you in so many different ways! Thanks for choosing us to be your parents :o)

Almost 7 years already?

So I was just looking at some of the pictures of my sweet girl and it hit me. She is going to be 7 in five weeks! I will never forget how over joyed I was to find out that we were expecting our first baby girl. Travis and I had taken both boys down with us to the ultra sound (we thought it would be fun) well at first it was fun for them to look at the baby that was in mommy's tummy. But things changed when the girl announced to us that we were expecting a girl. Yes that is right, I cried with pure JOY! Jaden was happy, Travis was happy but he was to occupied trying to get Tanner to calm down. You see Tanner didn't want a girl he wanted a brother and so he was NOT happy. He was yelling NO NO I want a brother, so Jaden would tell him that they were getting a sister which in return made him even more mad. So Tanner would pull on Jaden's ears, yell and cry because we were getting a sister :o) The fun just continued because we made it out to the truck and called Travis's parents to tell them the news and Tanner got on there and told them we were getting a boy, so once again we corrected him and once again he through a fit! Oh well, needless to say Brinlyn, we are ALL so very glad we have you. What a joy you have brought into our home and I am excited to celebrate another birthday with our very special girl!

You were such a BEAUTIFUL baby! I had so much fun buying girl things and dressing you up! You melted all of our hearts with your stunning blue eyes and sweet smile.

You still hold the title of becoming mobile at a young age, you started to crawl at 8 months and was standing in the middle of the floor all by yourself at 10 months and walking at 11 months. You have always talked very well, and you do like to talk A LOT!! :o)

You are just a "knock out" steeling your daddy's heart from the moment he seen you!

You have been the very very BEST big sister! You have asked me if we could have another baby from the moment you could talk. And now you have two little sisters to look after, and you have helped me with them so much.

Brinlyn, thank you for being our daughter! We love you PRINCESS!!

The "little" things to be Thankful for...

As we approach Thanksgiving, I can't help but just think of all the many things I have been blessed with and just express gratitude to have. So here is my list
#1 I am thankful for Travis, he is a really sweet husband to me, my rock in many occasions,and my best friend, he works hard to provide for our family and he is the BEST daddy I could ever ask for. Love ya Babe
#2 I am thankful for my 5 beautiful kids, they are  my reason to try each day to better myself. I couldn't have asked for more tenderhearted, loving and helpful children. Love you all!
#3 I am thankful for our parents, Travis and I have such loving parents that would give us the shirt off their backs if we ever needed them to. They are always there for us and I appreciate their love and support they give us.
#4 I am thankful for our health, I feel that my family has been very blessed to have good health which to me means the world! All of our babies have been born a little early but all were healthy and strong and I couldn't ask for more of a blessing than that.
#5 I am thankful for my brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles , cousins and Friends!  This world would be lonely without any of you and I am just glad we have such wonderful people in our family tree :)
#6  I am thankful for the church and all it offers us and promises us. For our savior who gave his life for us all so that we could be eternal families.
#7 I am thankful for a home, it protects us from the weather and is a place where we can feel peace and love.
#8 I am thankful for food :o)  I never want to go hungry or my kids. (that is a fear I have with this world and how its going)
#9 I am thankful for where we live, we are surrounded in beautiful mountains and wildlife! Its a quiet place and I don't have to worry as much like I would do if we lived in the city.
# 10 I am thankful for babies, this may sound silly but I love to look into their eyes, hold them close and just feel the spirit. I feel like they come with such a strong heavenly presence, that us older ones loose in age. They come with so much love and tenderness that I adore and appreciate that I have had 5 of my own.
#11 I am thankful for LIFE

I am thankful for so much and just wanted to write down a few, I thought I would do this every year and then find it maybe a bit fun to see how my list has added :)

We need new updated family pictures!!

Alright, this right here is why we need new family pictures......

I love this picture of us. But sadly enough its very out dated, for we are now clearly a family of 7 !        
                                                                                                                                                          ~Then there is this picture, and can I just say I have the CUTEST kids!~

So the plus side of this picture is Rylan is in it :o) down side is we are missing Paisyn. But I so LOVE this picture .

~ So to just add my little Paisyn to the post here is my beautiful baby girl...~

So we can clearly agree that I could use an updated family picture, hard part is trying to get Travis to clearly see that we do! He hates his picture taken and isn't real fun to be around when we are taking them! So I am just going to hope I can get some done! I would love to send out Christmas cards this year with us on them. (((Crossing my finger)))

My Best Buddies

My post today is about these two Great Little Girls ! It was Rylan's second Birthday on Saturday November 12. She had a Blast! We took all the kids down to McDonalds on Friday night and let her eat Chicken Nuggets and play on the play ground, and she loved it! Then Saturday I spent most the day working on her cake, I made her an Elmo cake "he is her favorite right now".

He was fun to make I did enjoy it! I had to self teach myself because I had never really did a cake like this but it wasn't as hard as I thought. I bought the cake pan off Amazon and also my tips to decorate it with, so looks like every kid now will need a "cute" cake made for their birthday. Tanner told me that I spoil these last two little ones because I never made him a "cute" cake like this before. I had to remind him that I have bought them lots of expensive "cute" cakes. haha Love that kid!

Here is the final piece! I think he turned out pretty cute for my very first cake! I know I know Elmo is red but well remember he is also for a little girl, so well I made him pink :o)

The night of her real birthday I wanted her to open a few gifts and we let her blow out two candles on some pumpkin roll I had also made that day. She loved it and has made us sing happy birthday to her every night ever since and has to blow out candles :o) Can I just say she is just TO CUTE! So Sunday we had her family party and everyone come to enjoy her day with her, Mike, Jenna and kids. Grandpa and Grandma K. Derrin, Alyson and kids. Marty and Natalie. And Grandpa and Grandma J. and Shana. We had us a house full of people it was crazy but so much fun! I wish I had a bigger house to have get together's more often because I love them! Happy Happy Birthday to our very SPECIAL little girl! We LOVE YOU SO MUCH!
~~Then I just wanted to let Paisyn also know how blessed we are to have her in our family. She turned 5 months yesterday and I can't believe what a joy she has been. So glad we have you baby girl!

She has just started to roll and loves to play on the floor now. I lay a blanket on the floor strip her down and she rolls around and talks and laughs its soooo CUTE! As you can see in the picture she doesn't stay on the blanket to good but oh well :o)
